APPRENTICESHIPS
Austec is looking for motivated young people to join our team and become the next generation of in-demand metal manufacturers.
You will receive in-house training from highly experienced tradesmen with support from Training Services NSW.
We are offering a supportive environment for you to become a highly qualified tradesperson with strong training in a wide variety of skills.
Engineering – Fabrication Trade Certificate III
Fabrication Trade covers a range of skills in the industries of manufacturing, engineering and associated fields. As an apprentice you will develop skills in welding, sheet metal work, structural steel and metal fabrication.
Engineering – Mechanical Trade Certificate III
As a fitter and machinist, you will learn core skills important in the metals and engineering industry. To begin, you will undertake basic skills including mechanical cutting, thermal cutting, general machining, shaping and joining metal, and general machinery fitting. You will then progress to more specialised areas of knowledge such as CNC machinery and computer-aided drafting.
